Layer 05 - Answers
The series Serial Experiments Lain opens several new questions with each episode which are not answered until the last few episodes or not answered at all. Perhaps looking deeply into the show is a mistake. It may not be all the mystery it seems to be. But I highly doubt that. The concept of the wired and real world losing their difined borders is a very fascinating idea, and the elements that go into telling you that story are too intriguing to be pointless.
I believe that the fans offer the best interpretations (outside of the creators) of the series. So, in this section I will soon be providing fanart and fanfiction for your enjoyment. Please contact me if you'd like to submit any of your own work.
If you're looking to find deeper meaning in several aspects of Lain, connect to
thought experiments lain. The same author also has a less spoiler filled page with interesting Lain info, for that connect here.
Until then, here's an interesting fact that a friend pointed out to me; Lain begins to make a lot of sense once you realize that in many slavic languages 'Navi' refers to the souls of dead children.
